The World Future Council is looking for an Intern, Media and Communications with a focus on online and international media.
Period: asap for 3-6 months Location: Hamburg, Germany. Responsibilities and tasks: - Assistance with the relaunch of the main WFC website and on-going development of our policy website futurepolicy.org - Development of online communications strategy (web and social media) - Monitoring, evaluating and updating online communication tools (incl. SEO optimization) - Arrangement and upload of content to WFC websites - Editing and proofreading of published content - Management, update and expansion of international media mailing list/contacts - General assistance to increase international communications output - Reporting directly to the WFC Media and Communications Officer Profile: - Advanced IT literacy: knowledge of content management systems and/or experience in web design and/or production, Google analytics and SEO/SMO proficiency. - An eye for visual and creative communication - Social media affinity (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr) - Team working skills, flexibility, creativity and willingness to learn - Excellent writing and communication skills in English (German an asset) - Ability to multi-task and work with multiple units simultaneously - Student or University Graduate - EU work permit required The WFC offers interns some support for living costs, an attractive international work environment as well as training possibilities.
