CSS Programmer for social impact
Mini-job for creating a methodological database
What it is about:
A public database to collect facilitation methods that foster eco-social innovations. What you will do: You will build a complex wordpress website with toolset. Design and structure are developed by us, but you will be integrated in the process. Input will also come from our international partners art monastery (IT) Plenum (AT) and Foundation Sendsimir (PL). Your work will mainly consist of digging into the potential of toolset, • have close contact to the technical support of toolset and • consult us about technical possibilities and restraints • Constructing almost anything with toolset is easy, but to make it look good you need to make lots of adjustments with html and css. Optional: If you would like to grow into the fields of design or project management, let’s talk about it. What you should bring in: • 10 hours a week, 01.11.2015 - 31.01.2016, maybe longer. • Working from home is possible but not desired. You should come at least once a week to our cozy home office in Kreuzberg. • Knowledge of html and css (no php needed) • The willingness to push technical limits with the help of forums and technical support. • The ability to think on your own, take initiative and work independently • Some experience with wordpress would be nice, but is not essential. • Your own computer to work on, if you have one. What you will take out: • the satisfaction of pushing this world a little more towards sustainability • experience on how to create a practical and beautiful database • basic introduction into Tango (we dance during the work-breaks) • Lots of fun with a great team • Contact to an inspiring international network of change makers and pioneers in education • free participation at the Hosting Transformation Days August 2016 in Berlin • 400€ a month
