The Research Department “Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Management” at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) Mannheim is looking for an intern.

What we offer:
• Cooperation in the project: „Innovation Behaviour and Essential Property Rights
under an International Environmental Agreement “, in particular technical support for the selection of cooling devices’ patents
• Insights into applied and policy relevant research


We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
• Bachelor or Master studies in chemical or mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics or related disciplines
• Basic understanding of cooling cycles, refrigerants
• Basic knowledge of patents and the Montreal protocol is a plus
• Good command of English
• Independent work
